P2- Camera Assessment

It is very important to check the white balance on a camera when it is set up before filming because the cameral needs a control of the colour while in order to work out all the other colours on the spectrum. This is especially important for when the camera goes from filming inside to filming outside as it will still know what the colours are with all the bright lights outside.  It is also really important to check that the audio levels are correct before the filming starts because the audio needs to be a good balance, not too high so that all you can hear is background, and not too low that the editing process is difficult because when soundtrack is added, if the audio is too low it can risk being drowned out. Another important thing to check when setting up the camera is that the camera is focused because no-one wants to watch a film with fuzzy shots. As well as this, it is important to check that the shots are no over-exposed. If there is too much light in the shot then it becomes over-exposed and unappealing to look at.
